Want to run but don’t know where to start? Join a beginners group with others and learn together, under the direction of a qualified coach in running fitness. I regularly run couch to 5k programmes, as well as beginner groups focused on improving technique and stamina. My beginners groups are very welcoming and catered to all abilities, whether you are taking your very first steps, or returning to running after a long break, or injury. I can provide support with individual training plans for those attending my beginners sessions.


Can you comfortably run 5k, but want to improve either the distance you can run, or improve your pace? My improvers groups will push you beyond your current abilities, in a friendly supportive environment, with plenty of coaching tips. We do a mixture of hill training, intervals, fartlek and circuits so come along and see how you can improve.

Guided runs

Want to get out and explore new routes, but don’t know where to go, or not confident enough to go on your own? My guided runs happen weekly, and are all about exploring the beautiful countryside we have in the local vicinity of Bolton, Wigan and Chorley. Routes range from 3 miles up to 10 miles. All abilities are welcome, as are dogs on the trail routes, as long as they are well behaved.
